General Terms and Conditions

for participation at the Conference

1. General provisions

The General Terms and Conditions govern the purpose and circumstances of the PANTHEON Conference 2022 (hereinafter referred to as “the Event”), organized by Datalab SI d.o.o. (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”), the method of registration, the conditions of participation and the procedure for potential cancellation prior to the Event.

The General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the registration for each event. By registering for any event within the PANTHEON Conference 2022, the individual entirely, irrevocably and unconditionally accepts these General Terms and Conditions published on the Event website.

When organizing and implementing the Event, compliance with all measures and guidelines for containing the COVID epidemic by the Slovenian National Institute of Public Health will be ensured.

2. Registration for the event

A person registers for the Event by filling in the registration form on the Event website, where the person must provide their details (first and last name, company, email address, role in the company and cell phone number). By entering these details, the person guarantees that they are true, correct and complete. Pre-registration for the Event is required as places are limited. The person can only register for the Event themselves.

VIP registrations:

  • The deadline for VIP registrations is as defined by the Organizer.
  • Upon registration, a VIP invitee must enter the code assigned to them in the VIP promo field. Without entering the VIP promo code, the VIP registration will be treated as a normal registration and will be charged.
  • Unused VIP registration fees cannot be converted into package discounts or refunded in the form of cash.
  • VIP passes are non-transferable, except by agreement and with the knowledge and approval of the Organizer.
  • If a company exceeds the quota of VIP passes allocated, the additional VIP passes will be considered as chargeable registration fees.

By registering, the person also agrees and gives permission for the Event to be filmed and/or photographed by the Organizer, and for recordings to be publicly available after the Event.

There may be audio/visual recording of all or part of the event. You agree that we may use and distribute such recordings for the purposes of training, publicity and documentation.

By registering at the event, all visitors agree that the organizer may use all photos and audio and video content that might show the visitors. The organizer reserves the right to use these materials for promotional purposes, publication in the media and online, for research and/or educational purposes. Visitors waive the assertion of any copyright or other rights relating to their mention or likeness. Visitors are aware that the organizer does not assume any responsibility for any damage caused by the publication of materials where visitors are mentioned or shown.

3. Participation in the event

No matter whether the Event is free to attend or chargeable for the participant, pre‑registration is required. Transportation costs or any other costs incurred in registering for or participating in the Event is at the participant's own expense. Participation in the Event is voluntary. The registration for the Event may be cancelled in writing by email at konferenca@datalab.si.

4. Cancellation of the event by the organizer

The Organizer reserves the right to adapt the content of the Event and, in case of insufficient number of interested persons, force majeure or any other reason, to cancel or change the date or location of the Event. The Organizer will inform the registrants of a cancellation no later than one day before the Event by a text message and/or email to the email address provided in the registration form.

The Organizer also reserves the right to prohibit any person from participating in the Event or to ask them to leave the Event if they disrupt the Event or behave inappropriately at the Event. In such case or in the event of cancellation, the Organizer shall not be liable for any damages incurred to the participant.

5. Cancellation of participation by the participant

Participants have the right to cancel their participation at the Event. The participant may do so in writing by email at konferenca@datalab.si no later than 16 September 2022.

VIP cancellation:
Upon confirmation of your VIP registration, the Organizer will provide VIP invitees with snacks, lunches, refreshments and conference materials. Due to the costs involved, VIP invitees are kindly asked to submit their cancellation in writing to the Organizer by email at konferenca@datalab.si by 16 September 2022 at the latest. If they do not cancel their participation by this deadline, VIP invitees will be charged 100% of the PANTHEON Conference 2022 registration fee, because their place has been reserved and could not be transferred to other guests.

In case the participant cancels their participation in a way different to the one indicated above (not to the email address stated above) or later than the cancellation deadline, the Organizer has the right to charge 100% of the participation fee.

6. Use of personal data

Personal data collected as part of the Event registration process or otherwise in the context of the Event is controlled by the Organizer, who undertakes to carefully store and use all the personal data received in accordance with the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1) for the purpose for which it was collected and not to disclose it to third parties. The purposes are defined on the registration form on the Event website.

7. Validity of the general terms and conditions

These General Terms and Conditions are valid from 6 June 2022 and apply to the PANTHEON Conference 2022 event organized by Datalab Tehnologije d.d.
